Precautions for crimping processing of automatic terminal machine
The pressing height is an important management item in the pressing process. Carrying out a pressing operation with a pressing height outside the control range may lead to poor conduction, etc. Therefore, be sure to measure the pressing height at the start of the pressing operation, during the pressing process, and at the end of the pressing.
1. Measurement method
When measuring the crimping height, use a micrometer specially designed for crimping height measurement, and measure the center of the core wire part (the barrel part) and the outer part (the insulating barrel part) of the terminal after crimping.
2. Wire retention
Different crimp connector and wire combinations are specified with different wire retention forces. For standard values, please check the instruction manual of the crimp connector.
